Product Introduction

Hydrated lime, with its scientific name being calcium hydroxide and chemical formula Ca(OH)₂, is also referred to as slaked lime in the construction and industrial sectors. It appears as a white powdered solid and is produced through a chemical reaction between quicklime (calcium oxide, CaO) and water.

Scope of application

• Adjust the pH value of acidic sewage, widely used in sewage treatment in electroplating, chemical industry, circuit board, pickling, printing and dyeing, papermaking and other industries
• Used to remove phosphates and most heavy metals, kill bacteria and viruses;
• Used to increase the pH value in water plants.
• Used for preparing lime mortar in building materials.

Usage

There are two ways to add hydrated lime in the sewage treatment of hydrated lime: dry and wet. Dry method: hydrated lime powder is directly added in the reaction tank, without mixing, and the pH value can be coarsely adjusted in the strong acidic wastewater, and its dosage is mainly regulated by adjusting the pH value.

Wet method: first prepare the solution, prepare the powdered product into an aqueous solution with a concentration of 5%~8%, and stir continuously until the suspension is added to the sewage for application.
